RAY has rolled out Playtech live casino

RAY (Raha-automaattiyhdistys), the national gaming operator of Finland has launched a site of live casino powered by the famous gaming software developer Playtech on August 2014.

The new studio will be situated in Espoo ̶ Finland’s second biggest city ̶ and the house of Blackjack and Roulette tables.

This live casino will represent a “new presenter conception” that includes dealers in informal clothes located in a modern, ordinary lobby surrounding with up-to-date design of the interiors. Playtech provides RAY with online casino, poker and mobile products from 2010, after the provider has won a tender for the supply of software for a period of four years. Running a gambling site followed the changes in legislation of the Government of Finland, which had authorized the activity of online gambling operators.

RAY, which has the exclusive right to control all licensed gaming operators in Finland earned almost € 50 million last year. In the first half of 2013 the gambling operators have received 6% of the profits from e-commerce.

The most popular products offered but this company is casino, poker, bingo, live, sports betting, social and mobile gaming, ordinary and fixed odds games.

After the launch of this live casino, the company Playtech has recorded 16% of the growth in the annual revenue for the first three months, which together with the casino products provides € 87.5 million of profit.
