Microgaming has signed Universal Partnerships & Licensing deal with a Hollywood studio, having obtained the right to develop the online slot based on the breakout Universal Pictures comedy “Bridesmaids.” The film from the studio Universal Pictures picked up the already popular stars Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Melissa McCarthy and Rebel Wilson at the top of the rankings. The fans of the comedy are very happy with the opportunity to see the game version, featuring all the main characters.
The company has announced that the game will be released in the summer of 2015 and will be equipped with five reels, which is a standard approach in the creation of modern slots.
More interestingly, in “Bridesmaids” there will be offered a multi-level bonus game game, where the players can receive multiple winnings. In addition, the game will be available on PC and mobile devices.
“Bridesmaids” promises to be a hit only because the slot will be full of some of the funniest moments from the film showing the bridesmaids that try to help in planning a dream wedding. Bridesmaids will give us a lot of smiles. The game will be much closer to the film than most other similar slots, because the players will have a chance to face a lot of moments from the original movie thanks to side-splitting clips from the movie. Clips with the main heroins will be a very nice addition to the collection of total five symbols of each species. It is unknown whether this function will be open in a mobile version of the slot.
CEO of Microgaming (Immortal Romance), Roger Raatgever believes that slot “will add a whole new dimension to the line of branded games.” This slot will be very much different from the traditional slot machines produced per female audience, and thus this will provide the manufacturer with the possibility to increase their customer base. Incredibly funny “Bridesmaids” is significantly different from the usual slots designed for a female audience.
The summer release also emphasizes the intention of Microgaming to focus on the creation of big hits based on the famous movies.
