Some more details about the 12th season of the European Poker Tour were announced in May here on PokerNews.
The 11th season ended at the EPT Grand Final in Montecarlo and its winner was 20-year-old Adrian Mateos.
The 12th season of the European Poker Tour starts in Barcelona (Spain), and will be held from 19 to 30 August 2015. Spanish stage of the festival is one of the most popular poker event in the series. In Barcelona, for the fourth time Estrellas Poker Tour will take place in parallel with the EPT.
The second stage of the 12th season of the EPT will take place on 21-31 October 2015 on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Malta, which will be another grand festival of poker together with the Italian Poker Tour. The tournaments will be held in the resort of St Julian’s in the Portomaso Casino.
The third stage of the 12th season, traditionally held in Prague in winter, will be from 6 to 16 December 2015. Poker Festival will be held in conjunction with the Eureka Poker Tour at the Hilton Prague Hotel. As always, we expect a huge number of players: In 2014, millions of euros have been played in 59 tournaments, including the Main Event of the EPT the prize of which was € 5,535,000.
2016 will start with PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA), which will be the fourth stage of the EPT, and will take place in January 6-14, 2016 in Atlantis Casino-resort in the Bahamas. Stars of world poker community and hundreds of players from around the world will gather there to take part in the battle for a huge prize. In 2015 PCA Main Event was attended by 816 players and the prize was almost $ 8 000 000. From 10 to 20 February 2016, the EPT will take place in Dublin (Ireland), where the festival is back again, after a 7-year hiatus. All events will take place at the Royal Dublin Society.
The culmination of the 12th season of the European Poker Tour Grand Final will be in Monte Carlo, and it will be held from April 26 to May 6, 2016 in Monaco.
There is a chance that some other stages will appear, as the break between the last two stages is rather long.
